Membership is open to engineers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, designers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, students, and like minded persons in the fire protection and safety community.

There are two types of Chapter membership:

​

• SFPE Members 

• Associate Members - Those persons who are not members of SFPE.

Although SFPE Membership is not required for Chapter membership, it is highly encouraged. The Pacific Northwest Chapter is an "Incorporated" chapter per SFPE Standing Rules. As such, the Chapter must maintain a mandated core fraction of Chapter members as having SFPE membership. There are no professional qualification requirements for SFPE membership.

Chapter membership dues are only $30 per year.

Chapter membership for Authorities Having Jurisdiction is FREE.
